So it's Saturday!  YAY!  I might be going to a college football game today, I'm not sure yet.

I just found out that my band Ascention canceled practice for tomorrow which I was kind of looking forward to, but this gives me more time to work on the song I'm going to show them.

Sometime this weekend I'll have to type up a rough draft for an English paper due Monday.  It's on the story The Lady and the Tiger and let me tell you the author of that short is damn sarcastic so it's pretty interesting.

I just finished reading volume five of the manga The Land of the Blindfolded.  It's a really good shoujo, not like the ones about the girls who get spirited away to some distant land in another time and fall in love with a hunky bishounen, the magic girls who are in love with some boy who they get to save from danger every once in a while but can't tell them who they are no matter how much they want to, or the sappy school dramas where the stories are extremely predictable.  You know, all of the stories that are so cliche, you don't know why you read them but you still do.  No, Land of the Blindfolded has a pretty unique theme (for shoujo manga) and the art by Tsukuba Sakura is wonderful.

And now for a Romaji joke:
A girl and her boyfriend were on a date.  The girl was currently learning Japanese.  "Aishiteru!~<3" she exclaimed to her boyfriend with a smile.
"What does that mean?' he inquired curiously.
"It means I love you," she muttered as she blushed.
"Well, then," said her boyfriend, "I shit on you too! ^_^"

based on something that happened between my friend and her mom at Wal Mart
