An Open Letter to Brian K. Vaughn
Dear Brian-
I have just finished reading the last TPB of your Ex Machina story. And I am left... wanting.
What the hell man. First that bullshit last splash page that almost ruins Pride of Baghdad and now this? I read 48 amazing issues worth of an incredible story... and then see it all degenerate into self-deprecating fatalist crap.
I don't know. Maybe I need to sleep on it. But I am not happy with the end of this story. I will give you one more shot, Mr. Vaughn, as I have heard incredible things about Y: The Last Man. So I'll pick it up. But I swear if it goes on just to have a similar no one wins scenario at the final 22 pages of the story... you're dead to me.
