New random stuff
So I'm waiting on the Dynamis-Qufim roster to be posted or be canceled (attendance is sucking). So here's a post from Arc for the first time in like 4 months or something ridiculous.
Real Life is fun. Most people right now are struggling to find a job. I, on the other hand, struggled to get out of one. As some may know, I used to be in the navy. Navy sucks. With a huge amount of luck and I'm sure a blessing from above, I managed to get out at my 4 year and 7 month point as opposed to having to serve out my full 6 year term. No strings attached, just a "here ya go get out of our Navy" type deal which I can appreciate. I didn't even have to pay back my signing bonus that I got like 4 years ago for enlisting. Lucky me. Now I get more time to watch cool shows like Royal Pains and Burn Notice \^_^/ and of course play more FFXI. Gotta start looking for a job though, I'll start to go stir crazy otherwise. I'd love a job like working at Gamestop, but I guess I can't be picky nowadays eh? If anyone has some sweet job opening in the Charlotte NC area, gimme a call. I rock at life. Forreal.
FFXI Stuff is always interesting. Did an Odin last night. It was probably our roughest finish to date, but as always, EQ pulls through. Drops as usual were kinda meh. We picked up our 6th Valhalla Helm (Scottyboy grats to you even though you'll never read this) and our 4th Crimson Body (Grats to me considering I'm pretty much the only person left who had it listed lol). We also picked up Zenith Feet and Phantasmal Helm which I really wish we could have replaced with...iunno...something really useful? Where are you Hecatomb caps, legs, and adaberks? At least people did kinda want those last 2 abjs. Kreacher is now 5/5 Zenith and Avaisa got a new Raging Rush piece to try out. I broke my HQ Crimson set streak settling on a NQ Crimson Scale Mail. I got 2 sets of mats just for the sake of maybe getting lucky, but obviously didn't get so lucky this time. I did on the other hand make the decision to stop screwing around with Maat's Cap and officially begin my quest to get a Mandau. I'll prolly finish sometime like a month before SE shuts down FFXI. We'll see though. I'm at like 1/10th of the gil needed to buy all the currency provided I can grab the last 30 Bynes as a temp loan. It is always good to have a goal to work towards amirite? I technically could almost be there if I sold the Speed Belt, K. Club, Dusk Gloves +1, ect....but that would defeat the purpose of having a decked THF. So a farming I will go. Hopefully I can get somewhat lucky. If nothing else maybe I'll cap out parrying. 255/269! So close I can almost taste it.
