Random odd moment of the day
So I thought I'd have some thai food for dinner, I was out grocery shopping and there's a thai joint nearby I'd ordered from before, I call them and say I'd like to put in an order for pickup.
"It'll be an hour wait, is that OK?"
"...
Um... No! That's not OK!"
I dunno what the heck, seriously. They're just a dinky Thai joint in a mini mall. Like, they didn't have anyone lining up outside their doors or anything, I could see that well enough when I drove past them after shopping. I think they're pretty much just completely incompetent. I had their pad thai before, it was fine. I mean, decent and all, but nothing special. I wasn't about to wait a freakin' hour for it. Anyway, I just ordered from their competition who had my order ready as soon as I walked in. It was delicious. :9
