Bad Pickup Lines, Geek Style.
I went to the bank on Christmas Eve, and I swear, I saw a Link cosplayer in line. For realz. White leggings, green tunic, cap, shield with Triforce logo and all.
Turns out she was the employee at a local game store, dressing up for.. Christmas (yeah, I didn't get it, either). I mean, she IS an elf and everything, but... .. I refrained from any Rupee jokes, of course, because the last thing I needed was a shield-bashing like wut. (Rupees are the monetary currency of Hyrule, where the Legend of Zelda is set).
Speaking of which, I just thought of the WORST pick-up line ever, if say some Hyrulian merchant wanted to put the moves on Princess Zelda. "Hey, baby, what say you and I go back to my store and make some sweet Rupee. *wink-wink-smirk*" That one deserves a shield-bashing, right there.
Hmm. I've got an idea -- why don't you folks try coming up with GODAWFUL video game/anime/sci-fi & fantasy pick-up lines? XD
