today Cub scouts and clearing tools and stuff
My son and the family, we all went to pinewood derby for cub scouts.
It was nice to see my son chuming around with his peers. It was kind of obvious that the other fathers helped out greatly with the cars. Yes I helped too. No the car did not place and he was disappointed. I wanted him to be more involved. Hopefully he now has some incentive.
The bathroom shower was finished last month. yay.. The epoxy paint on the concrete... it is coming up very quickly and dramatically. There is a redo to be done at some point there. Any way the shower is technically working and keeping the rest of the house dry, and that is good enough for now. The yet to be bedroom is being cleaned up, the furnace room has been outfitted with shelves. So all the work material and tools are being sorted and gathered in there. Mudding and taping should be fairly quick to accomplish.
A lot of small steps, that are getting made.
Yesterday was a father and daughter dance at school. My 5 year old spoiled it for my 9 year old. I hope I can make it up to my older child. My oldest, is in 6th grade, and soon, I have to worry about dating boys I suppose.
They are growing up and I love them all.
