Awesome Show
Last night I went and saw Velvet Revolver. Man it was fukkin awesome. Scott Wieland still puts on a great show, Slash was more awesome than I could have ever imagined. They played STP and G N R songs as well as most of their album. Scott still looks like he is on the drugs though. He was looking really thin. I had floor tickets at the Wiltern and it was great. My only complaint is that the sound guys really FUBARd the sound, the bass guitar and drums were over shadowing the vocals and Slash's guitar, but every so often they would get it right and you could hear everything perfectly. They had more of a STP feel to them than a G N R. All in all I would love to see them again. I am sure at the weenie roast it will be more popular STP and G N R songs witha few Velvet songs. Well that is all hope everyone is doing well.
