Today: new copy of broken movie made, 2nd call in to doctor made (and came up snake eyes, again), Xmas lights hung out side, trip to the store for more lights and diner stuff, returned/removed lights/rehung lights (and just got bright idea about how to handle the one place I couldn't, which means going out and rehanging a section AGAIN), and ( Read more... )

I went back to Torchlight about a year later, and enjoyed it again. Skipped the main plotline and just did scroll dungeons and the crypts, found it a good distraction. Mostly i did it to get ready for torchlight 2, but that got delayed.

CoH is "free" to play, and if you have a lot of veteran time, you get some stuff free automatically. However, the features that are pay only are somewhat necessary. Check it out, see what happened. I decided not to go back because my old guild/group isn't playing it anymore. It's a social game, as you well know.

I still like Torchlight, it's good "kill time" fun, but after 6 years of MMO's, it feels so light, y'know? i'll keep it installed, though.

As for CoH, have about 3 1/2 years of vet time on the account, but looking at what's crippled on the F2P mode, having been there before, I'd miss it. The social aspect is a big part of why I'm not enjoying CO as much, but after a couple years of WoW, i'm also used to having less people on. Having your crew to run with and talk to makes all the difference, to be sure.

The social aspect is key, I've found. It has to be a really awesome online game for me to play solo.

Were you a big fan of Diablo 2? I got into the Diablo 3 beta, and dear god. I will spend so much time on that game!

Diablo bored me, really. I never played 2, though, and have no idea about 3.

2 was a vast improvement over 1, and 3 seems to be the same, from what I have seen in the beta. I'm looking forward to some solid co-op gaming with it. Surprised you weren't into 2, what with Torchlight.
