(no subject)
So, as you may have heard, Di got called back for a second interview. In the end, they gave the job to someone who was moving internally (let's face it, they always get first crack at it), and they gave Di the same old song and dance about how they had been impressed with her, wished they could hire her, etc. We just took it as par for the course and moved on.
Except that, today, the company called her back. They felt she'd be a good fit in the job that the internal candidate is vacating, and could she come in tomorrow to talk about it? Wow, I guess they weren't kidding, huh?
Needless to say, we're not counting unhatched chickens, but that feels like a very good sign. Guess we'll see how it goes...
