For those unaware, he's the 2nd baseman for the Houston Astros. Tonight he collected his 3,000th hit, highlight of a terrific career as a stalwart player and terrific member of the Houston community. Along with Jeff Bagwell, they are hands down my favorite Astros. Both are hopefully headed to Cooperstown. They played the game the way it was supposed to be played, with heart, dedication, and hard work.

Congrats Craig, and thanks for so many games of enjoyable baseball.
