More Stuff for Japanese Class
In JPNS402, next week's activity is debate. The specific topic for which I ended up signing up was "bootlegging of music, et cetera." The reason that one stuck out to me, of course, was the mass of videos and comics I've illegally acquired from various sources over the last few years, and the fact that I never really thought too much about the morals and ethics involved. I'm not a strong proponent or conponent (!?), which is a problem considering we have quotas for who argues what. So I thought I'd start by seeing what kind of things my friends thought about it. (Come to think of it, this might be a good way to find out who my friends are. . . .)
