As long as you are aware of the implications action from your side would have and are willing to face the consequences in case you should intervene in any way, there are no objections from my side.

So you're basically saying a "look but don't touch" policy's in effect until the duel's over.

Yes. "Touching", as you phrase it, will bring the immediate termination of the duel and be considered cheating. Since you are allianced with Harry, it would mean he would lose all his memories of Nicodemus. I advice against any interference.
