My name is Ark. I mean you no harm. Where am I?

All right, Ark?

You couldn't hurt us if you tried.

You're in Sheol.

[He's making fun of her]

[The view in the crow's eye goes wonky as she grabs it by the neck - without turning - and gradually brings it around to her face. The crow of course protests this with an angry 'kyawk!' and the thrashing of wings.]

...where are you? [her voice is curious; she's speaking English now, same as the voice she heard, right down to a delicate echo of the accent.]

It isn't. That is to say, there's no real way of telling time here. Days pass, and I think we've agreed in general what month and day it is, but there are no seasons and there's no consensus on the year.

Congratulations, you've come to a place that exists outside of time.

Oh. I hadn't considered that possibility.

This is a prison, and Sheol is what our captor calls it. Sheol is a hebrew version of hell. Supposedly, it fits because we're all dead and our captor is one of the angels of death who's keeping us here to play with us.

Have you met him? Or have you spoken with him through the communication device?
