GLaRE (even) Highlights
Mage:
It was far better than any of us anticipated. I really enjoy the new blood to rp with.
Requiem:
Requiem had 5 defining moments for me, all occurred the second night.
1. The Gangrel / OD horde were staged on the island, preparing for the big NPC. BC and Raven had decided the Crone and Gangrel/OD mix would handle this issue together (basically ... though it was always BC's intention to kill Starmaker (only BC's House and a few others were privy to that)). BC stepped off the boat he'd procurred the night before, breaking Obfuscate as he did so on himself and the boat... I took a very Jack Sparrowish type step as I told everyone what they saw :) Behind me, however, were approximately 15 pc's in Obfuscate / Shadow Form (more on that in a moment) or using Cheval to watch us all. BC simply walked to Raven and said, "we're here."
2. We had to put some rocks together on a stone altar to summon the nasty spirit (which most of us decided was a good thing to just fight it while we had insane numbers.) 3 stones were left, BC asked Isabelle for hers as she was in Obfuscate by him. She placed it in his hand as she slipped the Obfuscate. Then as Mackenzie walked across the bridge, a Khaibit stole her stone and brought it back. The Khaibit formed in front of the altar and put it down. Seeing all the pieces in place, BC asked another of the Khaibit for the last stone (they'd decided that would be insurance (along with the last piece of the puzzle)). The Khaibit formed and gave the piece to BC who put it on the altar.
3. During the big fight, all of the Crone and BC's House who he respected and some he didn't were around him... it was just damn cool.
4. After we all escaped the big fight, we divided into factions to feed. The LS went and had a Mass and bitched at each other. The Gangrel went had a frenzy fest. I lead the Crone to a hallway and took a knee. One by one they all took a knee and we laid the worst wounded out. BC and Isabelle (Jen O's pc) decided she would hunt for those of us without Willful vitae, those with cycled animal blood through a BP 2 pc. It was smart, it was quick, it was efficient. Isabelle brought frat boys back for a party... mwa ha ha. The Crone just ruled all over.
5. The one Crone that was bitchy to me at the beginning of the Con cause she's playing a manhater and is also going for Status 4. She assumed because BC is a killing machine he didn't have any Cruac and said something to the effect. His response was a growl in her direction with face full of teeth :)
