What I've been up to (last one of these from me for a while since we're starting spring cleaning and fun things like gaming and anime fall by the wayside until we're finished):

Gaming: Working on Devil Summoner 2. Not too terribly far into it since I've been busy, but I think I'll burn through it like I did the first game once I get time to actually sit down with it for more than a few minutes. I like the new story and I like Narumi and Tae's new outfits. So cute. I've also been messing around with a couple of otome games on my phone: the Prince and Ninja versions of Shall We Date?, which are both very cute with some nice bishounen artwork. Already played through one route in the Prince game (Chezem's route, which was sweet and it was surprisingly easy to get what must be the best ending) and working on a route in the Ninja game (Saizo is the typical snarky jerk but he has the best character design).

Anime: Finished Mirai Nikki, finally. I enjoyed the ending but I kind of wish I hadn't started the series at all until the whole series was available. I watched episodes 1-23 over the course of a week and was really caught up in the momentum of the story. I thought it was one of the best things I'd ever watched. By the time I watched 24 and (much later) 25-26, I just didn't feel as into it. :/ I'm used to watching series pretty much all the way through, and though the time it takes me to watch them varies a lot (depending on how into the show I am or how busy I am), I always do it at my own pace. Putting a few weeks between episode 23 and watching the ending really hurt my enjoyment of Mirai Nikki. Still think it's one of the best recent anime I've seen though.

I also watched (and finished) Speed Grapher. I enjoyed it and it had some great moments, but I'd never call it a favorite. I'm currently working on the old Golion anime, which is interesting just for the fact that it went through so many changes to become Voltron and is surprisingly violent and dark. Also watching 11eyes on Crunchyroll. It looked like a typical moe harem series but I tried it on a whim (Higurashi taught me to never judge a series based on what it appears to be without at least watching the first episode). I was very pleasantly surprised. It has fantastic art and music, plus a creepy horror vibe that I just love. All of the characters are interesting and lovely and I can't wait to see where it goes.

Other: Read "Catching Fire" (second book in the Hunger Games trilogy). Overall, I thought it was a better book than the first one. I know it took a while to get going, and the first several chapters were a little boring, but once things pick up, the book becomes incredibly exciting.

*SPOILER WARNING*
I think the Quarter Quell was a lot more interesting and exciting than the games in the first book because we actually knew some of the contestants before the games started. In the first book, the only people we knew going into it were Katniss and Peeta. That's it. Sure, we were introduced very briefly to some of the others, but we knew absolutely nothing about them. When the Quarter Quell starts, we already have a pretty good idea of who Finnick, Mags, Johanna, Beetee, and Wiress are. Even some of the others (like the Morphlings and Seeder and Cecelia) are better described than any of the other tributes from the first book.

Speaking of Finnick, I ended up liking him a lot even though I couldn't stand him at first. It was nice for Katniss to have an ally who was actually physically capable and intelligent (unlike poor Peeta, who is just intelligent). I also liked Peeta here, whereas I didn't care for him in the first book.

Yeah I haven't tried the spoiler tag yet. XD
