Another "what I'm up to" post!

Gaming: I'm at the end of White Knight Chronicles 2, but am stuck. I'd really love to get my hands around the throat of whichever person working on this game piped up in a meeting and said, "Hey guys, I've got a great idea! For one of the hardest boss fights in the game, let's force a character into the party that ( Read more... )

You should look into Hakuoki (PSP)! I think you'd love it.

I have FFXIII-2, but I can't play it yet and its killing me. >.< I have to finish covering Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (or at least finish the main quest) before I can.

Already have Hakuoku pre-ordered! I'm showing support for otome games in English no matter what. Hopefully we can get more. :D

WKC series is made by Level 5, which means it going to be annoying and have cliche plot with maybe one or two character that keep you playing. It's sadly what I have experienced from their games. :/

I'm playing FFXIII-2. Not going to spoil you, but the plot sure is weird so far. lol

Only thing else I know of that I've played by Level 5 is the original WKC. I enjoyed it much more. It was a little too easy, but had nice graphics/areas and (like you said) a couple of characters that kept me playing (Ceasar and Kara, mostly). Ironically, the story of part 2 is a little more interesting and less cliche, but they must have heard fans complaining about part 1 being too easy and thought "We'll show them! We'll make it tedious and frustrating! Say it's too easy now!" :/

I managed to get past the part I was struggling with, mainly by just letting the intruding character die and just beat the boss with my avatar and Yulie.
