Through an amazing source of intelligence and wit, I somehow have come to the conclusions as to why more Americans don't go to the dentist.

1) Ow, local anesthesia to area prior to drilling ie big needle into gum = ow
2) Drilling, especially if there isn't enough non-feeley owy needle thing = ow
3) 4 cavity fillings w/ insurance = $168 (I can't even imagine what it would be without) = ow
4) Accidentally biting your cheek before local anesthesia has worn off = priceless actually, no, just ow again
