the other idea is really different, but I love this one too! xD

I think both styles will suit you well :3 This style seems like it would be a bit more time consuming to pull off, but with a ton of perseverance, I think it could be stunning! *__*

I like this one a lot, but it could be tricky. This look takes a lot of underpinnings that don't show, and that could be a bit of trouble, especially in only a little more than two weeks (though this is totally a case of pot and kettle, 'cause I'm still trying to figure out the bodice of my dress and am, just as soon as I finish typing this, heading out to try to find fabric to subvert disaster that I should have planned for ._.). I do think you'd look gorgeous in either, though!

Thank you dear! I'm actually trying to see if I can commission it...cheating I know, but I don't have any particularly great sewing skills :/ Yay for waiting until the last minute!

you are still basing it on the prom dress right? How many layers is the skirt of that dress? I think it would be cool to bustle it up a little and maybe pair it with a black corset. But ballet is also part of their theme this time. . . so the tutu skirt goes with it but it's to long. . .

Nah, I actually abandoned the prom dress idea...Karaya brought up the fact that the dress might be a little too "promish" for DoV and that I might need to alter it considerably. I decided to go off in another direction entirely.

thats a pretty dress... but will u be able to move freely?? It looks like all the petticoat or hoops would make dancing of any kind very difficult!

lol at this point I'm good with not being able to move around too much! I'm pretty sure my friends will be in giant dresses too, so I won't be alone XD
