Japan, please love me back =))
Dreams...everyone has them, but not everyone has the courage or the means to pursue them.
I got an email from TUJ (that's Temple University Japan, located at the heart of Tokyo). Apparently, their Admissions Counselor is coming here on October 19 to hold an information session! I got a personal e-mail, mind you. I've put my TUJ application on hold for at least one year (to please the old ones), and now, I may just have to go earlier.
Only there's one problem. My mom, who's surprisingly being supportive, wants me to apply to various American universities instead. :|
Me: I don't want to go to America. It's too far.
Mom: And Japan isn't far?
Me: Well, it's closer to home.
Mom: You're more familiar with America. (Spending one summer there is hardly 'familiar', in my opinion)
Me: Which is why I want something new for a change.
But in the end, I still sent applications to American universities, and I was allowed to meet up with TUJ's Admission's Counselor. :( BUT STILL, I HOPE TO STUDY AT TUJ. :( PLEASE PRAY HARD! HAHA.
