;004 In which Natalia lights the kitchen on fire...

Jan 18, 2008 15:34

[Natalia is in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for her new roommate. After putting a pan on the burner, she walks away from the stove, leaving it cooking for too long. After several minutes a loud beeping fills the apartment as the pan lights on fire and the fire alarm goes off.

... [somehow very happy that someone else epically fails at making food] It is all right. I am certain that if it had been cooked correctly, the food would have tasted wonderfully.

Oh, Nataku.

Yes, I'm sure you're right. I just can't get the hang of this, it seems.

Hello Natalia.

It is all right. It is a difficult skill to master. I have problems as well, and ... I have various cookbooks.

I have some recipes that my friends and I collected, but I can't seem to folow them correctly.

[♥~] I am sorry to hear that. But somehow it makes me happy as well. I think that someone else has problems as we do. It is nice that we all have problems like everyone else. It makes me feel ... very happy. Even though, I am aware now that I should not be happy about that and remember the damage caused from these commonalities between us overrides the good.

Well, it's all right to feel better when you realize you're not the only one with a problem.

Oh ... I see. I feel a little better about feeling better about that, then. I thank you.

Thank you for the compliment. I appreciate that.

Understood.

You are welcome, but I only am saying what is true. That said, I have had a lot of time to cook and think about what we can do about our project. I am unsure of how successful it is actually going to be, however.

Why do you say that?

I have never done anything of this sort and not sure if I am handling it in the correct manner.

Well, I can't say I really know what I am doing either.

But you can't give up! You have to do your best, and I will do my best as well. Even if it doesn't work, we cna say we tried.

Oh.

We can say that we did that, yes. It will make me feel better that I did try, and if it will make you and Colette feel better as well, then it is something that should be done. ♥

I would indeed feel better. We have to keep a positive attitude if this is to succeed!
