back in jan. of 2019 tumblr cracked down on adult content. a lot of people were looking for a place to go & came here to DW, but thought it was for serious posts onlytm. so sara (DW user) suggested that the month of febuary be for frivolous posting (more on that
in my post here).

-Falk bought the famous raincoat, which first appeared in "Prescription: Murder (1968)," for $15 in 1967, when he got caught in a New York City rainstorm.
-Peter Falk frequently added in unscripted improvisations such as asking for a pencil or searching for something in his pockets. Falk did this to frustrate and annoy his fellow actor (usually the suspect) and generate a genuine "get to the point" moment.
-A life-sized, bronze statue of Peter Falk as his iconic character stands on Falk Miksa Street in Budapest, Hungary. Installed in 2014 at an estimated cost of $63,000, it is believed that the actor is a relative of the street's namesake, a 19th-century Hungarian political figure.
-Nicholas Colasanto, who is probably best remembered as playing Ernie 'Coach' Pantusso on the comedy series Cheers (1982), actually directed two "Columbo" episodes; Columbo: Étude in Black (1972) and Columbo: Swan Song (1974).
