i couldn't get into it when it was on the air. maybe because it wasn't shown in order. but saw it on hulu.com & now i wonder how it would've gone.

2. star trek: enterprise
sure we got 4 years, but since the other modern treks went for 7, if feels like something is missing.

I have such mixed feelings on Firefly continuing. It's always been on my list of shows that should have continued, yet after watching a 10th anniversary special where they talked about some of the plots that were in the pipeline, I decided maybe it was best that it ended when it did.

I can only find the bit that really grossed me out in a poor quality recorded off TV clip, but it really makes me wonder what the writers were smoking. Though after visiting a horror upon Inara, then finally having Mal "treat her like a lady", supposedly it was going to lead into learning the Inara had a terminal disease that couldn't be cured by Alliance medicine. That's why she gave up her old life and essentially "hit the road" to live her remaining life by her own rules until she dropped dead.

Enterprise was a show where they'd finally got a good writing team and you could see the course corrections, but it was too late. Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens had a long history of involvement with Star Trek, and were executive story editors and co- ( ... )
