friday 5: learning
1. What was a skill you were proud to learn as a kid?
i don't recall being proud to learn anything.
2. What's something you used to be good at, but can't do any more?
our dad taught me & my brother the tune "brother john" on a toy keyboard. a few years later i lived in my maternal grandmother's house for a while that had a piano. i played that tune a lot. i even got the point were i could play it with both hands.
i try to play it on every electronic keyboard a store has set up as a demo model. i even did it once on a tablet at staples that had an instrument app. but it's been a long time & i really can't do it well any more.
3. What's something you haven't done in a long time, but you could pick it right back up again with some practice?
possibly the above tune.
4. What can you teach others to do?
nothing.
5. What would you like to learn next?
klingon. or Polish.
