new shoes
so my brother and i got new shoes late last month, both sketchers brand from shoe depot.
his are the vigor 3.0 in black & mine are the crossbar--stilholt (these names) in black/gray.
i have buyers remorse (more like like uncertainty) about most things, but with shoes it's worse. unlike shirts or pants where i like the color and as long as it's the right size and doesn't itch or bunch up, i'm fine. but with shoes i don't really know how they'll be until i go out wearing them.
you can walk around the store in them for an hour, but won't really know what they're like until after standing/walking/briskly walking in them for a few hours.
and it doesn't help that my brother is not 100% happy with his. they're part of sketchers "sport" line with memory foam insoles & he thinks they're supposed to be running shoes (mine are part of their "outdoor" line and are described as hiking sneakers). you really can't get regular sneakers any more. they're all running shoes or some kind of work out shoes with some kind of mesh-type material or in the case of women's' shoes some fashion thing. or if there are just regular sneakers/walking shoes, they're in crazy colors.
*sigh* i hope they work out for both of us.
