for the harry potter fans wicked_visions aka karli_meaghan makes great icons with quotes for the houses, hogwarts, deatheaters, dumbledore's army, educational decrees, the house of balck, ministry of magic, & the order of the phoenix . the quotes are not just from harry potter, but from all sorts of fandom. the one on this post is a quote from star trek. and i i suggested that she use some from stargate: sg1, and she did!
she also does manips of harry potter characters, a lot of slash with some het & gen thrown in. and is responsible for one of my favorite HP fan vids; almost unreal. WARNING! spoilers for all novels & movies.
speaking of fan vids; i join in with everyone who pointing at the sg-1: the movie trailer the same people (2 girls, i think) have made other cool sg-1 fan vids; stargate: camelot (sg-1/merlin), col. jack o'neill's 7 rules of gate travel, a stargate/inception trailer mash-up & in the non sg-1 category a trailer for the macgyver series
and in the star trek fan vid section; last friday night (tos), tic tok (tos) no wonder everyone wanted posted t the ncc-1701. not because it was the flagship, because it was a party ship! a st:voy/predators trailer mash-up and a few of my old favorites; trailer for the ds9 series WARNING! minor spoilers for all seasons & a st:voy/potc at world's end mash up
