3-sentence fic; ghostbusters (1984)
The shrill beeping of the of the fire alarm had finally stopped, Janine had either removed the battery or ripped it off of the wall.
Ray coughed and fanned the smoke with a newspaper in the direction of an open window, while Spengler looked forlornly at the remains of a burnt toaster oven on a table in his lab & Winston gave it another shot from a fire extinguisher.
By Venkman's count this was the third thing Egon has set ablaze, either accidentally or on purpose, that month; "Anything else of ours you want to burn Egon?" he asked.
