its been awhile since i have put up a pattern for yall. i think its about time! dont you?! here is a pattern for my Ribs and Ridges Hat. as per ushe you can download it as a word document over here.or que it on ravelry
Ribs and Ridges Hat
MATERIALS
• “I” crochet hook
• Worsted weight yarn (im using red heart)
• Yarn needle
KEY
• CH - chain
• ST - stitch
• SC - single crochet
• FPDC - front post double crochet
• BPDC - back post double crochet
• REP - repeat
NOTES
• Work this pattern in a spiral. DO NOT slip st and ch to begin a new round. Just start it with the stitch indicated.
PATTERN
1) CH 4
2) 11 DC in the 4th CH from the hook (12 ST)
3) 2 SC per ST around (24 ST) place a stitch marker here so that it is easy to find the beging of your rounds. When you spiral up it tends to be harder to see. You can also move it up as you go but I just leave it for a few rounds and then move it up.
4) *2 SC in the next 2 ST, 1 FPDC in the next 2 ST* REP (36 ST)
5) *2 SC in the next ST, 1 SC in the next 2 ST, 2 SC in the next ST, 1 FPDC in the next 2 ST* REP (48 ST)
6) *1 SC in the next 6 ST, 1 FPDC in the next 2 ST* REP (48 ST)
7) *1 SC in the next 6 ST, 1 FPDC in the next 2 ST* REP (48 ST)
8) *2 SC in the next ST, 1 SC in the next 4 ST, 2 SC in the next ST, 1 FPDC in the next 2 ST* REP (60 ST)
9) *1 SC in the next 8 ST, 1 FPDC in the next 2 ST* REP
10) *1 SC in the next 4 ST, 2 SC in the next ST, 1 SC in the next 3 ST, 1 FPDC in the next 2 ST* REP (66 ST)
11) 1 SC in the next 9 ST, 1 FPDC in the next 2 ST* REP
12) *1 BPDC in the next 9 ST,*1 FPDC in the next 2 ST* REP
