I really like bright sides. I really don't know what I'd do without them.
Bad: Computer isn't working.
Good: Portrait of a Lady is being read amazingly and quickly. (So, I'm writing not as much, but reading a helluva lot more.)
I got into Pirates of Penzance! (Chorus, and after thinking about it, don't really think I could have handled a bigger role this semester. Wondering whether I should tell my parents I got into a show..? Either way, 20th recital still seems like it may go on, in this case.)
If I'm lucky, I might actually get Mellon to help pay for an internship abroad. What does this mean? That's right. I'd be financing it myself (well technically, Mellon would, but as a result of my awesomeness...). Which would be awesome. Which means I can go where I want. Which means, of course, France.
There's really nothing too important on my laptop that I'm afraid of losing. As for _Socrates on a Plane_, I'd only be losing a paragraph or so. Other than that I e-mailed it to myself enough that the majority is there.
I'm in love with a character who a page earlier I wrote in the margin, "What a jerk!" I'm not surprised at myself, of course.
Michael on France: "It's so...ugh! Who'd want to go *there*? It's so old-fashioned and poetic. Ugh."
Me on France: Exactly.
