First of all, guys, apologies if you've been trying to reach me. Really, your best bet is to just send me an e-mail (at elisafernandez_arias@yahoo.com), because my macbook's almost out of batteries, the charger stopped working, and I don't know when I'll be able to get the charger replaced. Anyway, onto the descriptions of Vienna and Budapest.
First let me say that most of yesterday was spent driving. We left Prague pretty early, and it was only supposed to take a couple hours to get to Vienna, but there was a lot of road work. Also, the GPS (the family calls her "Jill") kept getting confused because there are a lot of unmarked streets in the Czech Republic (and near the border of Austria). Let me say, this was one of our "good days"; everyone woke up in a good mood, and since my mother got into a good mood, there weren't any arguments at all. Anyway, we eventually got to Vienna, and we went to Schoenvrunn, which is a pretty famous castle (Marie Antoinette lived there for a bit, for example). One of the queens there (Elizabeth, or Sissy), would always sneak out in costume to go to carnivals in other countries (like Portugal), while her hairdresser would impersonate her at state events. I thought that was pretty awesome--totally what people go for when they write about all that stuff.
Then we arrived at Budapest that night. I can't actually elaborate on Budapest (which happened today), because I've got to head out to dinner, but, I'll talk about it the next time I'm able to get hold of a computer. Hopefully, I'll soon be able to get a new charger, too.
Bye!
