Sippers...
No.. not shippers... Sippers.
I'm creating a new term.
(I don't think it's been said before...)
Anyway, Sippers. It's the shipper you love but never want to happen.
This may be because
1) You enjoy the tension way too much.
2) The show would jump the shark if the "sipper" ever came to be.
3) Any other reason you would find fit.
And the name fits too.... The word 'sip' means to drink (a liquid) a little at a time; take small tastes of.
It's perfect.
Let's use an example.
One of my favortie sipper examples....
Sara and Grissom from CSI.
In theory, they would make a superb couple.
But at the same time, it ruined CSI when they did.
I stopped watching after that bullcrap started =/
Because for the longest time, I would watch CSI, and I would say to myself, in my head: "Here's a prime time show that doesn't have an ulterior motive. Here's a prime time show that does not have the two leads get together."
But no, because they can never have a prime time show without romance being one of the major themes!
Gah...

Yeah, so I kinda didn't organize these. And even though it's numbered up to 67, it's more like 60ish because there were some doubles; I deleted them and I was too lazy to re-number.. There are some Quentin Tarantino, Keira Knightley, Kill Bill Pulp Fiction, RENT, The Who, Beatles one, Jim Carrey one, a Down with Love one, some Uma Thurman, Beyonce, Natalie Portman, Harry Potter, Grey's Anatomy, Marisa Tomei, Gilmore Girls, Callum Blue, James Roday, Psych, and The Dresden Dolls.
They're kinda all over the place... hehe.
