So after church supper tonight Karen, Joseph, Lindsay and I were all standing around, the last people to leave the fellowship hall. I'm sure we were all wondering who was going to make a break away and who was going to the service...but time was slipping away. Karen and I had previously decided that we should go work on our many final class assignments (random interjection: AH!!!! I just accidently sprayed my screen with spit!!!). So we head to the car and once there I remembered that I needed to go to Walmart to pick up DVDs for the Graduate DVD I'm doing for church (due Saturday...think I'll get them done? Nah...ok, well maybe.) On the way (all...1 mile of it) to Walmart, Karen and I come up with many more things to get: film, mints, pancake syrup (I used the last of ours this morning...), etc. Well we get there, start doing the usual wandering around to get stuff...when low and behold, who do we see but Joseph and Lindsay! Evidently she needed a mirror of some sort and he had no excuse. So that provides some entertainment and we go back to our respective shopping. I get distracted around the electronics and end not only with film and dvds but also nice plastic cases and a Targus camera bag. So sue me...I needed one anyway. About this time, Dr. Dan comes around the corner with his son, Little Dan (happy ...12th(?) birthday big guy!) and they're wandering around much like us, only they're in search of Mrs. Aleisha (sp?). Well we finally wrap things up and check out. Here's where the reeal fun begins...the lady checked out my syrup twice. I knew I saw her do it, but I figured maybe I was wrong the first time. Evidently she was tired or something. So I payed 2.66 for a 1.33 bottle of syrup. Not only that, but as we're walking out the door....guess what sets the alarm off... guessing yet?... yeah, the DVDs. So I have to put up with that hastle while Becca (McLeary, who works there) is laughing at Karen and me....and finally we check out of the Walmart nightmare much later than anticipated. All said and done, I can't complain about the 2.66 syrup. When I got home I unpacked all the stuff and left the bottle sitting on the floor where I unloaded...and promptly forgot about it for the last hour. I finally looked up and saw it so I decided to capture it with the aforementioned camera (thanks Rach!). I thought it was funny, but then again it could just be the hour.
