so scared.....
Well, I found i have surgery on the 2nd. I will be in the hospital overnight if things go well. I am so scared because I found out what it is exactlyu that they are going to do to me. Diskectomy and a laminectomy. Diskecotomy is where they are going to remove part of my disk so it is no longer herniated. ANd the Laminectomy is where they remove a piece of bone from my spine so that the bundle of nerves that is being pinched will have more room so it can heal correctly. I am so at my wits-end. I do not need this at 19. I just get to add more to my list for my medical history. ALso heard that this fixes it for about 7 years and then the disk might derteriorate cause me to have something done then as well. At that point i will only be about 27. Still to young in my oppinion. But if this is what it takes for me to get back to a more normal life....bring on the pain and suffering. I will endure and overcome all this shit either way it goes Yippie
