With my multiple hard drive crashes of the past and the HARD reemergence of my interest in comics, my love of fighting games had decreased dramatically. Even with obtaining about 90% of the files relating to the genre of VG (except the porn, of course), it seemed like nothing could bring me back to it. Not even listening to VGM or playing Kizuna Encounter again.
But, in a recent chat, I recalled the fond times I had with my Sega Saturn and the game I loved playing on it the most: Real Bout Fatal Fury Special.
Downloading it for MAME and playing it again....oh man. It felt so good. It FEELS so good to play it, over & over again. I'm not as good as I used to be (FUCKING BILLY KANE), but...I love it.
And I haven't even played as Geese yet.
FUCK do I miss playing this game.
