Samantha Powers
I had the opportunity to talk meet briefly with Samantha Powers when she stopped by OFA headquarters. Unfortunately, I'm just now starting to read some of her work (which had actually been in my queue for some time), but even not having done so, I can attest to the woman's insightfulness and intellect. She's also very personable and approachable. I'll be cross-posting this in my internship journal, but wanted to put it here as well, because I want to encourage anyone not familiar with Sam Powers to become so. In particular, her book Genocide: A Problem from Hell is a very worthwhile read.
