Obama and I (cross posted to MySpace)
Well, I know a lot of you have been waiting to hear what's up with me and my internship. I've been waiting until I actually had a few details to share, so here it is.
I've been accepted for an internship at Obama for America'a National Headquarters in Chicago, IL. I'll be working for Adam Hitchcock, who is in charge of the campaign's New Media Division.
I'll be talking to Adam later this week regarding my hours, start date and responsibilities so I'll keep you all posted. Obviously, I'm pretty excited, as this is the exact internship I was shooting for.
On a side note, if anyone has a line on a place that a poor intern can stay in Chicago, I'm all ears. I'm sure I'll be looking for some part time employment too, so feel free to shoot those suggestions my way as well.
