Visited Pioneer Farms

Although we had a Christmas Party/Recruit Event for the org there in 2019 (the last party Jon and I ever attended together), in the "Dance Hall" I had never seen the place during the day, so after the Walnut Place Neighborhood Association Annual meeting held there on Saturday was over, I took the time to wander around and just gawk at the lovely historical buildings. Then I ambled in to the Office, and chatted with the lady there. After a bit it occurred to me I'd like to donate the old (1865) piano I've had since I was about 9 to the exhibits. I won't be fixing it up; I am pretty certain Elizabeth won't want it, and rather than trashing it, I'd rather give it to be enjoyed by other historical buffs. So I've got to photograph it and send the pictures to the nice (also 5th Generation Texan) lady to see if they could pick it up. This will make me happy, if they want it. It just occurs to me, I've owned it for 70 years!
