Afternoon classes were cancelled today because Dr. Paul Farmer came to talk to us at the ND forum.
He is amazing. It's so hard to believe that one person can make such a HUGE difference in the world. When I was reading the book about him, I kept thinking that it was fiction. After attending the forum, however, it seems so much more real. Kind of. Not really. The amount of work he has done in Haiti and other places is just...mind blowing. Really.
I only missed one question on my insane bio exam, and the chem exam wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Hopefully my scores will be relatively good. Blah.
Thank you for listening and for making me laugh. I needed that.
I hate the fact that whenever I call home, my brother tells me exactly what he had for dinner. Really. One of these days, I'm going to teach him chemistry wrong and have Meyer yell at him. Hmmmm....tempting.....
ND v. Michigan this Saturday! Claire's parents are coming up, so I definitely have to clean my...third...of the room. Darn. Laundry. I have to admit though, seeing people all over campus wearing Muck Fichigan shirts is pretty funny.
