The Last Trump
One day, when you hear a Shofar, it will be the Archangel Michael you will see something like THIS Happen. Which is why people love the Shofar. There are 4 distinct calls to the Shofar, the 4th one is the one we are waiting on. This is what Paul talks about in
1 Corinthians 15:52
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The ram's horn, the shofar, is a reminder of Abraham's sacrifice of Isaac and God's provision of a ram as a substitute. (Genesis 22:13) (Isaac: who at Yom Kippur is the "Akedah" in the binding of Isaac story about substitutionary sacrifice!) And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
