Ha ha ha... Phew, that's funny in the morning.

Ok, so I slept at my Father's house for the first time in a while last night. In what was my room when I lived at home in High School (Now the guest room)... Creepy, but definitely easier to feel comfortable in than any room of Summer's house. Though I feel unwelcome, really, I was still happier to be there than at Summer's. Ha ha. That's funny... Even i nthe morning.

I went to bed after unpacking the few things I have there. I have gathered a MASSIVE pile of laundry to do tonight after work. I fell asleep around 11-11:30pm. I tossed and turned all night. The bed is as uncomfortable as I recall... And since my sheets hadn't finished drying at the point of my exhaustion, I gave in and slept on the sand paper sheets of the guest bedding. That won't happen again, needless to say. lol So I tossed, and I turned and at about 5:11am, I was awake. More than an hour before my alarm was to go off. It was NOT my turn to use the bathroom. lol But my Father was still making his lunch, so I asked if I could use the bathroom for 6 minutes to pee and wash my face and he reluctantly said "Well, go ahead, but make it quick." So I did. He hadn't even finished making his lunch, so I'd better not get bitched at later. lol

It's funny, because my father makes a point of telling me the same things over and over again as though I am incapable of hearing or remembering what he says the first 12 times. lol (I must have been a real pain in the ass as a kid, otherwise, he likes to hear himself talk. lol)
So before my Father left for work, he tapped on the door and said "I'm leaving for work- are you decent- I have to tell you- Roba hit your car."
So I grab my keys and open the door and we go with a flash light to look, and that woman did not pay attention to the fact that I was parked where I have ALWAYS parked ANY time I have EVER come to their house, be it to visit or whatever... Granted, there was a HUGE pile of post- hurricane shrubs in the way of a proper view, but I know these people... They are THE creatures of habit, and for years, I had seen her go out to her car, and start it and let it warm up while she squeegees the car so she could see better... Now, unless she has managed to change that very old habit, she had to have been able to see my car while she was doing that, so I don't know how she could miss it. lol (Let's not even talk about the fact that I was parked RIGHT UNDER the big light pole thing that lights up the whole cul-de-sac. lol)

So needless to say, I think it's time the old gal pays more attention to where she drives that boat! God love her! lol But she is getting older, and her attention, and reaction times have not synced up in years. lol Let's just be honest. Sigh...

So...tonight's plans: laundry. Leaving the room only to take care of that laundry... It's weird, cause usually when I would come to visit we'd all sit in the living room and talk and what not for a little bit- when I came in at about 8pm last night, my Father was passed out on the couch and Roba hardly said a word to me while she stared at the TV, and didn't even offer to help me carry my stuff into the house, then got irritated cause a mosquito got in. lol Did I say SIGH yet? lol Going to be a long 6 months, I think... But I will do whatever I have to do to let them know that I am thankful and appreciative. Because after all, I am, I'm just weirded out that they are so quick to treat me like the same 16 yr old kid again. lol Guess it comes with the turf. lol Tee hee.

Anyway- I'm going to have to get some work done now...
I'll probably write again later.
