Been a while.
Well, work was exhausting, to say the least. I was the only one in the department working all evening, and we had only one cashier(and Sarah called in sick at the service counter) up front past 7:45. Let's just say that having to ring for two hours when you still have all of frozen displays and milk to do sucks. Kathy and Josh helped me out for a little while, and I managed to get just about everything done, so it was cool.
I'm at my best when the shit hits the fan, I've noticed. It's one of those rare times when I can stay completely focused on something. Normally, It's nigh-impossible to give all of my attention to one thing, as my mind is constantly drifting. But when I can, it's almost scary how powerful my mind can be.
Anyway, went over to Luke's last night. Played 7-player halo most of the night. Took first in a free-for-all land of wuz game in Prisoner, and Peter, Luke, and I wasted them in a 3-on-4 CTF. Peter and I would have done a bit better(we nearly won a 2-on-4), but they had Ross on their team, and he was doing as well as I was. After that, we watched Forrest Gump(hadn't seen it before), then crashed.
Should be getting a car in a few days, finally. I just hope that I don't have to dump too much money into it. Of course, I get the freedom of my own car, and at the beginning of summer to boot. So it's all good.
