Cold foot.
Absolutely nothing new with me. Worked 17 hours this weekend, probably going to hang out with my friend Josh from work later today. My feet are probably going to be numb for the rest of the day after I decided to go get the mail barefoot (keep in mind I have a long driveway too). On the plus side, I learned just how fast I can run with the proper motivation.
Anyway, I saw RotK on thursday. Everybody bitches about it being too long, but there is no way PJ could have cut any more and still done the book justice. Overall it was good, but I do have two issues with it:
1. Denethor is completely one-dimensional. He's basically portrayed as a senile power-hungry old bastard who decides to burn himself and his only remaining kin alive. Not to mention his actual death was really overdone.
2. The deus ex machina conclusion to pellenor fields. For anyone who doesn't remember, it didn't happen that way in the trilogy.
I also get the urge to find a screenshot of the charge of the Rohirrim. Just so I can photoshop "Owned!" on it.
