(Upload) Psych_30 prompt 21) Rationalization (Men of Science)

Jul 02, 2006 21:44

So! tmelange is awesome and did the beta for my first entries of psych_30. This is the last one I wrote, it seems it's impossible for me to write Victor without writing angst. I feel that if I write something that steps away from his rational, methodical sad self I'm insulting him. But I'll try to give him another prompt and write him something different. This ( Read more... )

*grin* I'm really happy you liked it, even more if Victor is your favorite rogue :) I love him lots, he's just.. aww. Heart breaking and cool (ha-ha!).

*gives back some love* Thanks for stopping by! I'm rather nervous about the whole psych_30 challenge :) good to see I started with the right paw!

Oh gosh, this was great. Cold and glittery. I loved Victor's voice, icy but with those occasional breaks in it. And it fits the theme so perfectly too!

I really, really can't wait to see all of these. Batman has the absolute best villains, I just can't imagine the nightmare of actually trying to write them.

:D I'm glad you liked Victor's voice! He was difficult. I love him lots and I coudn't find a way to write him. The Batman rogue gallery is awesome, I really enjoy seeing all of them, but I'm possitively dreading writing Joker. No way I can skip him, but just... I don't know if I can! But you know how it is, with your perfect Joker voice and all :P

Feel free to ask DaMo to beta your Joker...he wrote pretty much all my Joker dialogue. :p I was utterly hopeless...

I might take you up on that! I'm watching the disc 4 of BTAS Season 2. The epiode of The Man Who Killed Batman is practically one of my ideas for a psych_30 prompt :P

Fries is an interestting villain, and you capture him completely in this vignette, IMHO. With the dead wife, and the obsession--he's such a great motivational study. Kuds, Mina.

*glomps* Thank you! Victor is great but he's hard, exactly for the same reasons -his dead wife and his obsession. The theme of them not thinking they are crazy is going to come up a lot, with the exception of Joker, who I'm dreading to write. My poor, crack-filled brain...

Don't mind my poor spelling. I meant "kudos". I don't know what "kuds" are... ;)

BTW, what's going on down there? Who won?

It scares me how much sense you make him have. In every sense of the word: Cool! *g*

Lol, ahh, the rogue puns. They make this so much fun. And I know a couple of people like Victor (they don't have freeze suits, but you know) who think what they could achieve is bigger than the law, and therefore overrides it. They are very lazy, though, so they are mostly harmless :) I don't know if Victor is crazy or not, but he certainly doesn't think he is.

Oh, how *cool*. In, like everyone else said, every sense of the word.

I could totally visualize all of this in my head. His voice was really good, calm and collected and dismissive except where Nora came in.

*Grin* Thank you! I liked picturing Nora as a strong, methodical person too, someone who could have stolen Victor's heart. He's a sad chap, but I'm half convinced by his reasons.
