Music meme, at that! (also, yes! I continue to be alive. Not particularly busy, just. You know how cartoon football players put an outstretched hand ahead of them and keep running and everyone who tries to tackles them goes flying, brushed aside? I am a cartoon football player! 1. Can't Stop, by Infected Mushroom. It's psychedelic trance that's kind of morphed into psychedelic progressive? Welllll. It's very catchy and energetic, and it's from the latest album and I love the latest album. Also, the vocalist is the cutesttttt dude in the world in live shows. So happy!!
2. Carbon, by VNV Nation. Ughh, I love this song so much. I love love love love male vocals that sound just kind of subdued but that tap something like.. tightly held passion? ...they sound kind of bored but you know they are not! haha. I have tons of music with vocals that give me that feeling but I can't explain it :/ This is all 'urg what are we doing to our world??' but in a very synth industrial way? ...THEY RULE. GIVE THEM A CHANCE.
3. Care for you, by Wolfsheim. This.. is the voice thing again. Though he's on the less bored spectrum of my favorite male vocals! Very synth pop and calm, and sweet, and kind of sad? Urg, he breaks my heart. <3
4. Cornflake girl, cover of Tori Amos by Tapping The Vein. I like the darker bent of the cover? goth rock is definitely something that gets me, and I do like her voice, even if Tori Amos voice is definitely fuller. It's kind of... more desperate this way?
5. Cup of Coffe, by Garbage. T_T T_T T_T
