I haven't made a personal post in a while, so I thought maybe I should? I'm doing okay! I am so behind with fb you guys wouldn't imagine :/ I'm sorry! I've read some wonderful stories lately and I have yet to gush about them! though I feel like I should tell you to go gush on ava_jamison's Midnight Sun which is everything h/c ought to be!! I love it so! <3

Okay, first of all, stay safe. Look out for yourself and stay safe. I'm hoping with you that it gets better as soon as possible. That's a lot of stress for you and everyone else to live under.

The Arizona law will be found illegal, I feel certain. It IS illegal for states to make laws concerning international issues. It's currently being reviewed, as you probably know, by the Justice Department, and they and the President are certainly not in favor. Go Obama! I love him.

That said, um... would you go this fall for your landscaping degree? I know you don't want to abandon your city but you WOULD be coming back. And as messed up as Arizona is... there might be fewer kidnappings and murders? Otoh, I hear what you're saying about the ambiance there. Their blowhards on the news sound like idiots, too. Just wondering, not trying to mind your business too much or be too intrusive or anything, but I have to wonder if there are some good programs in New Mexico or Texas...

I just want you to be safe and okay, whatever it takes, until things are better in your city.

Hope Queen was great! I'm glad you're getting so much work and it sounds like it's going well! Good luck with the weddings and the dresses!

+hugs+ Man, I'm sorry I'm so late replying!!! life has been absolute madness for like, a month :/

I hope things get better here soon, too. We're having elections this July, and though it's unlikely that will change things much, it's also.. well, it'll be a change! so hopefully it'll be a change for the better!

I think the Arizona law won't be passed, either, in part because I think it wasn't conceived to pass, you know? it was a political move to gain support for the reelections from the extreme right, but they know the economic repercussions are just not sustainable. Yes, illegal immigration is a problem, but there are better ways to solve it, I think.

As far as programs in the Unis, I like a program in California too, but it's more expensive. It just means I'll have to wait a bit more or find other scholarships, though, so it's not like OMG impossible or anything :) something shall be arranged! I won't be going this fall -if anything, it won't be until next Spring, I think. We'll see! Things can't be awful forever here..

Queen was very awesome! and the weddings, man, it's driving me insane. Bridezillas! Groomzilla! noooo :/

I must comment on the latest Midnight Sun! You have uploaded a lot of fic I enjoyed lately, and I haven't had a chance to comment :/ I'm sorry! eep, I like your stories a lot, I hope you know that!

Here's to possible change for the better! And I agree that the Arizona law is designed to do other things. One you mention, the other is to try to harass the federal government into instigating legislation they agree with. And now the federal government--and plenty of state governments and Mexico--all have to worry about the oil spill, which is freaking me out.
