I'm reading a bunch of Super-family titles, and I'm loving them! I started reading Power Girl this month thanks to
skund's rec, and it's so much fun! I really recommend picking that one up. The art is gorgeous and it's funny and crazy and Karen is very cool.
I'm also reading Supergirl, which is also very good. I'm enjoying Kara a lot, the art is gorgeous, Lana and Kara were adorable together (here's hoping there's a way around Lana's current predicament!) and it's just all around a very nice reading experience (if you pick up this month's installment, uhm, it was very gory! but. Not in a Blackest Night way, at least?)
Also, I'm reading World of New Krypton, which is right now my favorite title out of all the comics I'm reading. Kal is wonderful in it. He's strong, he's confident, he's lonely, he's smart, he's caring and loving and brilliant and he is hot. I cannot stress how much I love Kal in this book! And Alura! I would have stayed away from it had it not been for
mithen vouching for it, because it has James Robinson and I am not incredibly fond of his writing, but this has been very good. There is something to be said about how damn sexy it is to see a character so in control and so competent. Not that Kal usually isn't, but he's so, so wonderful here. HONEST.
I thought I would post some Clark being hot! Because, well, he's awesome and I love it when he's looking so good :D
From Superman/Batman #68, I loved this panels of Super Clark. Ohhhh hello thereee!
The title this month was kind of meh because it's like, a missing bit of story from a 90's crossover or something, but.. uhm, not a very interesting one so far. The bad guy being called NRG-X does not help at all, it sounds so XTREMEEE and dumb... But I loved Clark there! he's looking good! He had a couple of very cute moments with Bruce, though, and that's all I really want out of this title, lol.
Next is Superman Secret Origins #3 and #4. The art took me a while to get used to, especially at first when Clark was a boy, it was very odd. But I think grown up Clark looks pretty damn good here.
As much as I love mature, super-competent Clark in WoNK, I also love self-doubting, worried Clark in Superman Secret Origins! look at him in the porch with his parents!
But he overcomes this by being there for Jimmy in #4!
LOL at Clark's funny face there! and him covering his crotch! hahahaha
THIS MAKES UP FOR EVERYTHING, THOUGH. ROWRRRR. (LMAO at the sound effect of the photo being put down. UNFORTUNATE, DC, VERY UNFORTUNATE.)
