And then Loki started throwing up red frothy stuff, so I had to take him to the vet. Top theory at this point is he swallowed a bit of string -- although how he got it I don't know, as I keep my knitting away from him. But it makes more sense than the other (more dire) possibilities, so that's what I'm hoping for. Tomorrow he'll get either an ultrasound (to check for the string and eliminate some other possibilities) or an X-ray (if the ultrasound guy can't make it to the vet's office).
