AIDS Walk NY
I know I've been out of the loop lately, but things have been pretty hectic around here. As most of you already know, my dad had a heart attack last week. He's recovering well now, enough to be grouchy about missing work. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go home and see him because my mom had already bought tickets to come visit me for Mother's Day and her birthday.
Oh, yeah, and work's been insane.
And my mom brought a cold with her.
ANYWAY!
I'm participating in the AIDS Walk this year... which is tomorrow. I'm actually walking with my team (St. Mary's) today -- we got permission from the organizers to walk this afternoon, because tomorrow is Trinity Sunday, and none of us could bring ourselves to skip that.
I'm on my way to walk right now, which means:
If you want to sponsor me, do it now
Officially, we can take donations for another week or so after the walk, but I find it's a lot easier to do it right away than to try to remember.
