You steal the fire in their eyes,
Knowing that it would devoid them of breath.
How is it that your sweet expression now seems so preversly tainted?
They made you believe a vacant lie that ravaged your soul.
Say nothing. Say nothing.
Bite your forked tongue and turn away.
Suck on your jaded pride, you ignorant girl.
The world doesn't survive on your jagged words.
You may be urged to partake,
That I am way out of my place.
But how can I ignore your smoking gun?
