Dearest beloved,
I trust that you're well, and that you're having the greatest fun choosing dresses and the like. I hate to occupy your time with what may seem a boring question, but I should like your answer so that things may run smoothly.
My love, I know that we have the Manor, the château, and no doubt some other properties here and there, but as yet nothing in London. This flat's scarcely large enough for one, let alone two, and it's dingy and dull; besides, it's Ministry property, and I believe they don't approve of them being used as married quarters. I spoke with Roddy last night, and he and Bella have offered us the use of a suite of rooms for when you and I are in London. Isn't that kind? But I thought you may prefer to have your own place in town; being an only child, I can't tell if you'd be happy staying with Bella. If we did have our own, of course it wouldn't be any great distance from anyone, and naturally we'd be Flooed, so you could see her any time that you pleased.
But I don't want to sway your thinking, my precious. Tell me what you wish, and it shall be yours. The only step that I shall take before I hear from you is to get the brochures of the best accommodation agencies so that we can see what's available.
Roddy sends his best, and I - I send you my heart.
your Lucius
PS: Sweetheart, last night Roddy implied that his brother Rabastan is a little peculiar. You must hear about these things: do tell!
