RAHLE65 (AKA=ME)

Rahle squinted as he looked up a the sun. He had been wandering around in this wretched forest for days and had not eaten a single thing. He growled softly as he thought back. Back to before he had been exiled from the pack. Back to before he had tried to go through with that stupid bet. It was all Damians fault. Damian was the one that told him to try and kill Kyra. And he tried. Oh did he try. He would have succeeded too if Kyla hadn't got in the way. Kyla, stupid Kyla.

He turned around and began running once again. He had to get away from this place. It reminded him too much of his past. Too much of the terrible things he had done. The terrible things he would have done. The faster he ran the more his thoughts turned to that fateful day. The day that would change his life....

Rahle awoke to the same thing he always awoke to. Cais and Lark playing right next to him. He growled at the two cubs.

"Why do you always have to disturb me?" Rahle questioned the two.

"Gee Rahle. We're sorry. We really don't mean to wake you up" Cais explained quickly.

Rahle grinned at the two cubs and soon all three were playing a game of tag.

"Rahle!!" a voice rang out.

Rahle paused and turned around to see a black wolf walking towards him. The wolf had a slight limp and one of his eyes were missing. It was Damian. The two wolves greeted each other then took off for their usual morning stroll but this one was going to be different.

"Let's make a bet Rahle." Damian growled.

Rahle just nodded his head to show he was listening. He loved taking bets. Never once had he backed down from a bet or a dare.

"I bet that you won't try and kill someone in the pack. Someone important. Someone like Kyra" Damian sneered.

Rahle turned on his heel and raced towards a small cluster of wolves. Beyond those wolves, he knew, was the cave where Kyra, the alpha female and Bandack, the alpha male resided. He reached the cave and darted inside. Just as he had hoped Kyra was alone. He jumped on her growling and snarling viciously.

LAJOS

"You there! Fool, leave her!"

A voice rung out from beyond a trees, and from those trees, came the form of a white youth, amber eyes staring coldly foward.

He had been watching this from outside the cavern--so there was a murderer, here?

"What the hell are you doing?" The yearling hissed as he entered the cave, voice echoing and eyes brimming with an angered flame as he watched the one apparently dubbed Rahle assault a female varg--a drappa.

"Leave her, lest you fight me, brute." he snarled, baring his great jaws to Rahle in pure malice.

RAHLE65

Rahle stopped and turned to look at the newcomer. He had never seen this wolf before. He growled.

"Who are you to tell me what to do child" Rahle said.

He began to walk slowly towards the white wolf. Circling around him growling. Who was this young wolf?

"To be sure, young one, you must have a name. And whether or not you wish to disclose that information with me you still challenged me. And when you challenge me its a challenge, not a threat. You challenge me and we will fight." Rahle snarled.

FARRAH

The brown mellow eyes of the she-varg darted back and forth between the two male wolves. Could they see her or sense she was there? If they had done either, they hadn't shown it. Neither had the fae. She was still pinned to the ground by her larger adversary.
Speaking to the large one who had the female in a death-lock, she answered for the younger male.
"It looks like you have enough of a fight on your paws already. Quite the benevolent one, aren't we?" she said, sarcasm dripping thickly from her voice as honey from a fresh comb.

RAHLE65

"Shut your mouth! Shut up! This is to no concern of you. You shouldn't speak unless spoken to" Rahle snarled at Kyra

His blue-grey eyes flashed angrily at the other varg. He couldn't believe it. Who was she to say if he was benevolent? All was silent and then suddenly Rahle spoke again.

"Kyra, you are going to die. This child cannot save you. Try as he might he won't. And after I'm through with him. You're next." Rahle said.

He then jumped off of Kyra and leapt on the other varg, snarling, his teeth tearing into the others flesh.

FARRAH

Farrah was amazed at the dexterity of the large varg almost as much as his anger. He had thrown himself on the smaller pup and was tearing into him.
Farrah leapt into action. She sprang on the snarling attacker and grabbed his neck, beginning to pull him off of the young interloper...

LAJOS

"No!"

This was Lajos long, long ago. Long before he gained power; gained madness. Hm as a witty, but weak, vargling.

"Please... Don't kill any more! I will slaughter you! Fenris will smite you! He shall smite you!"

As Lajos sat on the riverside, he looked over at the other two Varg. One, he had met recently, and the other... he couldn't help but feel that he had met him before...

The pup's eyes were brimming with tears of pain, and his miniscule claws were unsheathed. He would fight. No more death...

No more death...

"No more death."

RAHLE65

Rahle snarled viciously as the she-wolf flung himoff the cub. He couldn't believe it. All he planned on doing was killing Kyra but these others. They were interrupting. Why did someone always interrupt.

"Fine. For now, I will leave. But mark my words I will be back." Rahle snarled.

He turned and began to walk out of the cave but then paused and turned back to the wolves.

"But remember this. I will be back. And child if you ever challenge me again. Fight me. Don't have protection. And Kyra. You will die." Rahle said and with that he ran out of the cave.

Growling as the ground flashed past him he searced for Damian. He had to see him. Had to tell him.....

FARRAH

Farrah loped along the mountainside, carefree. She had been dwelling on a very interesting day she had had in her past...a day which involved two strangers whose faces she now knew so well...she dreamed that scene every so often...it came back to haunt her. She wondered if the varg who was after the femme, Kyra, had gotten his taste of blood, and if he had taken vengeance out on the pup who was fighting him so bravely...

LAJOS

"Er... Hey... Thanks for hepin' out, back there, miz."

A small, squeackish voice emenated from the form of a youthly whelp that padded slowly beside Farrah. Baring his teeth in a wide grin, he looked over at her...

"I'm Lajos... Who're y--!"

...Then, he fell, facefirst, over himself, tumbling about and whimpering...

"Ouch..."

RAHLE65

Rahle sighed as he thought back. Back to that day. Never had he lost a dare. Never. If it wasn't for that cub. But Rahle had neither seen nor heard from the cub since that day. Still, he couldn't understand. How had that pup known? He couldn't possibly have seen him. There was no way.

'I just don't get it' Rahle growled softly to himself.

As Rahle ran, the sky faded into darkness and soon it was night. Night. Oh how he loved the night. The darkness made him almost invisible. He blended in so greatly with his jet black fur and dark brown eyes. No one knew where the dark fur and eyes had come from. His mother, Lithina, was a pure grey wolf with yellow eyes and his father, Greshak, was a white wolf with baby blue eyes.

Rahle had always wished he was stolen from his real parents at birth. But he hadn't. It was too bad. Growing up Lithina and Greshak had ignored Rahle and made him feel inferior to his brothers and sister. They always put him down for the color of his coat and eyes and told him he was evil. The spawn of Wolfbane. His youngest brother, Grant, had always been there for him though. Had always helped him and played with him when the others wouldn't. Damn if Rahle ever cared about anyone but Grant. What had Jericho, Desoku, Frost or Tayl ever done for him besides hurt him both physically and emotionally.

Rahle frowned as he thought of his family. It was their fault he was so messed up. So violent.
